Fashionable mice

Gerade ist es sehr kalt und ungemütlich in Griechenland. Die letzten Tage regnete es ständig und da zudem noch ein eiskalter Wind wehte, konnte ich auch mit den Hunden keine Spaziergänge unternehmen.

Aber schlechtes Wetter ist auch perfektes Wetter für alle Amigurumi- und Häkelfans. Regen und Sturm – einfach genial. Mein Programm sieht dann so aus: Holzofen anzünden, Kaffee machen, Häkelnadel und Wolle um mich herum lagern und loslegen!!!

Doch diesmal, irgendwie … ich hatte einfach keine Idee, die mich absolut begeistert hätte. Ein neues Projekt muss mich bezaubern und faszinieren, sonst wird das nichts. Eine Anleitung für ein Amigurumi zu schreiben ist oftmals mit viel Aufribbeln verbunden. Manchmal merke ich erst am Kopf, dass, dass die Beine zu kurz, zu lang, schief oder sonstwas merkwürdig aussieht.

Zeit hatte ich jetzt, doch diesmal passte es einfach nicht. Auch das Surfen im Internet brachte keine Hilfe, nichts konnte mich begeistern.

It is currently very cold in Greece. The last days it rained constantly and a cold wind blew, I could not take walks with the dogs.

But bad weather is also perfect weather for all Amigurumi and crochet fans. Rain and storm – awesome. My program looks like this: I light the wood stove, make coffee, store crochet hook and wool around me and get started!!!

But this time, somehow … I simply had no idea that would have absolutely excited me. A new projekt has to charm and fascinate me, otherwise it will not work. To write a pattern for an Amigurumi is often associated with a lot of unraveling. Sometimes I notice, when I’m crocheting the head that the legs are too short, too long, crooked or something else looks strange.

I had time now, but this time it just did not fit. Even surfing the Internet did not help, nothing could inspire me.

Also entschloss ich mich ein Buch zu lesen.

Als ich es mir mit dem Buch gemütlich gemacht hatte, sah ich meine Mäuse, die ich noch nicht weggeräumt hatte.
Und da war sie, die Idee, die Faszination, die Lust etwas auszupobieren: Die Mäuse brauchten Kleidung, schließlich war es bitterkalt.

Ich freute mich, ich hatte mein nächstes Projekt gefunden. Zuerst entwarf ich eine Latzhose für Hector und weil Hector so süß darin aussah, häkelte ich auch noch eine für Paprika.
Ein Kleid für das Mäusemädchen ist schon geplant und Schuhe und … aber all das gibt es im nächsten Beitrag.

So I decided to read a book.

Just as I had made myself comfortable with the book, I saw my mice that I had not put away yet.
And there it was: The idea, the fascination, the desire to try something new: the mice needed clothes, after all it was bitterly cold.

First, I designed dungarees for Hector – and because Hector looked so cute in it, I also crocheted one for Paprika.
A dress for the Mouse girl is already in progress and shoes and … but I will show you this in my next post.

Noch ein Hinweis: Die Maus und die Latzhose sind mit Catania Schachenmayr und einer Häkelnadel 2.5 gehäkelt. Falls ihr andere Wolle für die Maus verwendet habt, müsst ihr die gleiche Wolle auch für die Kleidung verwenden.

Falls ihr noch Ideen oder auch Wünsche für die Mäuse habt, könnt ihr mir gerne eine Nachricht senden. Ich dachte auch an ein paar Accessoires, zum Beispiel eine Schultüte oder einen Schulranzen, was meint ihr?

Just a little hint: The mouse and the dungarees are crocheted with Catania Schachenmayr and a crochet hook 2.5. If you have used other wool for the mouse, you must also use the same wool for the clothing.
